The CXC Motion Pro II is a race simulator. It has 146 inch widescreen full HDTV, 5.1 speakers and to make it more realistic the have integrated four custom belts in it. The device comes with a full motion simulator, It is obtained by the electro-mechanical actuation fitted in the back of the seats. So every time you hit a bumpy road or use the brakes you could literally feel them. It has optional features like adding two TV  to make the view wider, F1 style paddle shifter and a lot more. This simulator supports online gaming through a broad band connection, so you could log into the “race room” and can race with others and you could even create a team radio. Priced at 20, 00,000 Rs, this one is not for me.

Being a Mac lover, I am quite happy after seeing the Apple iLife 09.Apple ILife is package sold out by apple which contains software which they call as lifestyle utilities. It contains software for image editing (iPhoto), Music Instructor (Garage Band), Movie Player (iMovie), Movie Editor (Precision Editor) and finally iWeb. Of the two “lifestyle utilities” there are three worth mentioning of iPhoto, Garage Band, Precision Editor .The iPhoto has two noted features, one is the Faces. Faces uses a face recognition algorithm to identify people, If you mark a face with a name then software searches through all the Collection and marks the Name of the Person. And the Second Feature in the iPhoto is the Places, It is a geotagging application. It would enable the user to tag an image with its GPS co-ordinates. The Garage Band would be quite useful to music lovers and learners. It Plays songs (obviously) and also enables a user to learn guitar and piano. The Screen is parted in such a way that the user would be able view the Instructor and also practice simultaneously. The last software is the Precision Editor it is used for editing a video, it is so precise that you can even edit a single frame. But the downside is the Precision Editor takes a lot of Resources. It comes Free with a Mac machine. But don’t worry if you have already bought one. It can be bought Separately at 4700.Sorry Windows Fellas, It won’t work in your machine.

Microsoft live labs are working in PhotoSynth. Tagged as 3D photo browsing, it works collecting a certain photos into the synths that would generate 3D panoramas of the same subject. In the preview phase we can view the piazza building and NAZA shuttle endeavor. For using this service the user have to download an installation file from the Website (www.photsynth.net). After installation we would have two applications one is, a Browser for viewing synths and other would be used to create the synths. By identifying common elements in the Photos, it creates a virtual 3D view of the object. The content that is generated is highly pixilated but it serves the purpose. There is 20GB of space for a user to upload the photos and it is a free service.

Every one in his life would have had a remarkable day or would have had a walk with their beloved ones that changed their life. Something similar happened to me it was during my summer vacation when I had gone to my native to live with my grandparents, me and my grand pa used to go to his farm early in the morning to water his plants and trees, it was during that time on the long walk home and at the farm my grand pa used to share his stories with me. He told me how he struggled through his life from a simple book lending man to an officer in a vet nary department. His stories made me highly inspirational and I aimed to work equally hard as him, you wont believe me he is 80 years old but still climbs tree.

After HTC Touch the Company has launched its successor HTC Touch Diamond. In this Phone apart from the touch interface we have the four keys Home, back, call accept/reject. The inclusion of the keys would increase the “productivity” according to the company. It is compact and slim and fits easily into any pockets. The colors in this mobile are better than any of its competitor. The People who thought of giving a 3D interface should also considered upgrading the processor, because the 3D interface is very slow. It comes with loads of software’s preinstalled like Utube video viewer, a mp3 editing software, Adobe Flash, Adobe Reader LE and Opera browse. A GPS device with Google Maps comes inbuilt. No expandable memory, slow processor and being costlier would be negatives for this device.

No no it’s not for free, This Phone runs on a Linux OS called Openmoko GNU. Being a slightly elongated oval shaped it is pretty easy to handle the phone. The Screen which is 2.8 inches is very crisp, and the resolution is 480 X 640 which is better than its counter parts. The UI is slow owing to its single core ARM9 processor clocking at 400 MHZ, any more would be better. What good is a Linux machine without a command line? Yes this phone has command line interface. All the application for this phone is open source so download the code and tweak it accordingly. Now coming to the Negative’s, this device doesn’t have a camera, PDF reader, document editor and at 185 grams it is heavy. Priced at  22,000 Rs.
